Sometimes, novelty lies in returning to the roots. For its 36th season on air, "Fort Boyard" returns to the "origins" of the program starting this Saturday, July 5 at 9:05 p.m. on France 2. With the return of cult cells, emblematic characters and a change of mechanics on the tests, the summer show on La Deux has planned something to dust off the house of Father Fouras , for what will be Olivier Minne's last lap . The 58-year-old presenter is leaving the Fort at the end of the summer to join the M6 channel , a shake-up for the man who has been the master of the place since 2003.

Before his farewell, there remains a whole season to discover with, as every year , its share of changes: already, entering the fort is no longer a formality. We are reconnecting with the ephemeral ordeal of the opening, which dates back to 2002.
